Master Formation Pools and Spas – Design

Every swimming pool design begins by mapping out your custom plan. Your consultant will measure your backyard, examine any elevations and then - working with your input each step of the way--create a precise, scaled image.

To achieve your total satisfaction, your consultant will discuss a detailed list of options for your swimming pool design that may include:

  • Size and shape of your swimming pool and spa
  • Swimming pool depth, end-to-end length, according to your preferences and family needs
  • Location for maximum sun, minimum wind and optimal view
  • Orientation to your home, windows, doors, and gates for the best views, access, and safety
  • Distance to next-door neighbors to maximize privacy and minimize sound
  • Color and kind of interior finish and water coloring
  • Full range of coping, tile, and decking options
  • Functional and design features such as loveseats, "beach" entries, tanning benches, and raised walls ("beam work" or "bondbeam"), and multi-level decking
  • Features such as fountains, sprayers, waterfalls, streams, along with options like such as dramatic lighting
  • Appropriate heating (and now cooling) equipment, including gas heaters, electric heat pumps, and solar systems
  • Elements to enhance safety ranging from lighting to bench ledges
  • Accessories that are appropriate for your pool design, such as slides, diving boards, and safety covers
  • Time and energy saving features like natural purification, remote controls and automatic cleaners
  • Built-in island barbecues coordinated with your pool
  • Opportunities to integrate current or new landscaping and other backyard features into your poolscape
  • Fencing, covers, security, and related local regulations

We also offer our new 3-Dimensional drawings (in our 3-Dimensional drawing software). This process will show you how the pool will look in your yard. Many customers have a much easier time imagining what the pool will look like with this program. This 3-dimensional rendering will then be integrated with a complete engineering plan.
